Speaking of respecting religions--a lot of comments I've read say that Mormons are just as bad at poking fun at others' religions because we don't treat cows as sacred like Hindus do. But the problem with that is that we don't MAKE FUN of Hindus because of what they believe--we don't make a spectacle of them. We don't mock Jews for wearing ritual clothing or make fun of nuns or priests because they wear clothing that symbolizes their covenants with God. But such things have been happening in the world for a long, long time--think of "Sister Act" or even "The da Vinci Code." There is so little respect out there for the sacred.
